VACUMED IVT - Now available!

Vacuum therapy with the VACUMED IVT device is a non-invasive method that uses pressure changes to reduce edema and pain, regenerate damaged tissue, increase oxygenation, optimize blood circulation, and improve lymph flow and capillary function.

01

VACUMED IVT is used for the following indications:

  • Arteriosclerosis
  • Venous diseases
  • Lymphatic obstruction and edema
  • Diabetic foot
  • Diabetic microangiopathy
  • Post-thrombotic syndrome
  • Chronic wounds
  • In physical medicine
  • Athlete recovery and treatment

Treatment duration:

  • 30 to 40 minutes depending on the indication

02

Effects of vacuum therapy with the VACUMED IVT device

  • Possibility of walking 100 to 500% longer without pain
  • 61% reduction in edema
  • 91% perception of lighter legs
  • Warmer feet
  • Reduced risk of amputation
  • 44% decrease in joint pain

sports electrotherapy

find out more close

Sports electrotherapy is the use of electrical current as therapy.

The currents used are divided according to frequency:

Interference currents

or IFS are medium-frequency alternating currents that act on motor neurons and have an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect and thus help in the process of bone healing after fracture (callus formation).

Diadynamic current

or DDS is a low-frequency, half-wave, or full-wave rectified sinusoidal alternating current, with a frequency of 50 to 100 Hz, that relieves pain and causes active hyperemia. It is used in the treatment of painful syndromes and extraarticular rheumatism.

Galvanic therapy

entails a constant direct current. It acts to change the ionic balance of the cell membrane and create heat friction of ions on their circulation in tissue. It acts on the nerve endings responsible for transmitting pain (nociceptors) so that the endings reduce or completely eliminate pain. Galvanic current increases the irritability and conductivity of nerves, and acts on the vasomotor nerves that are responsible for the innervation of blood vessels. It is used in rheumatic diseases, paresis and paralysis, vascular diseases and circulatory disorders, and for damage to peripheral nerves.

COMPEX
is based on stimulating muscle contraction with the help of electrical stimuli, in order to try to prevent muscle atrophy. Electrostimulation is performed using modern Compex devices that achieve various effects on muscles: from relaxation and analgesia to training to improve muscle trophism.

care therapy

find out more close

Care therapy is a type of radiofrequency therapy which, thanks to the bio-stimulation method, significantly shortens recovery time and improves therapeutic results.

With new tools, this technology connects the world of physical therapy and individual therapeutic exercises.

The device consists of four types of electrodes: dynamic resistive, dynamic capacitive, static resistive and static capacitive.

ultrasound (US)

find out more close

Ultrasound is a mechanical-thermal form of therapy that uses ultrasound energy for healing. We distinguish between two types of frequencies: 1MHz and 3Mhz.

Mechanical ultrasound as a micro-massage during which mechanical compaction and stretching of tissue occurs.

Biochemical ultrasound during which the gel state is converted into a salt state and large molecules are broken down (myogelosis and connective tissue, adhesions).

The thermal action heats the deeply located tissues, and the amount of thermal energy depends on the intensity, duration and size of the area to be treated.

manual therapy

find out more close

Manual therapy is a procedure in which the joints and/or soft tissue are treated by hand and with precisely-defined pressure on the body in order to improve mobility in the joints, connective tissue or skeletal muscles.

Through a system of passive manual techniques and procedures, the physiotherapist diagnoses, evaluates and treats soft tissue and the bone structure to restore previously impaired joint, spine and peripheral joint functions, with the required pre-manipulative diagnostics to reduce pain, increase range and facilitate movement and reduce inflammatory changes on soft structures. The result is relaxation, improved blood circulation and tissue nourishment, which leads to the improved function of the treated region.

exercises with aids

find out more close

Exercises with aids is an individual program focused on healthy, high-quality, proper exercise.

At Agram Club, we have all the important props for a high-quality, measured, and individually tailored functional training, which plays a key role in rehabilitation. Our training programs are based on the quality of movement, that is, on the correct way of performing exercises. Our goal is to teach you how to perform certain exercises properly and in a healthy manner, and how to build or maintain your body in a safe way.

As far as props and devices are concerned, we have TRX straps, dumbbells, bars and plate weights, Pilates balls, proprioceptive pads, balance boards and platforms, balls, rollers, mats, wall bars, agility training ladders, etc.
